Legal basis for processing

Legitimate Interest

Purpose of processing personal data

We process website visitors’ data to keep the site working and secure, investigate technical issues, and analyze and improve how the site is used. We may identify companies visiting the site and review visits associated with those companies, such as pages viewed and visit duration, to plan sales and marketing.
If a visitor uses a contact form or chatbot on the site, we process the information they provide to respond to the inquiry and prepare a potential customer relationship. This information may be stored in our customer relationship management system. Its subsequent processing is also described in our privacy notices for prospective customers or customers.

Processing necessary to operate and secure the site and identify visiting companies is based on Strongest Group Oy’s legitimate interest. Cookies and similar technologies that require consent are used with the visitor’s consent.

Basis of legitimate interest

Strongest Group Oy has a legitimate interest in maintaining a functional and secure website, investigating technical problems and misuse, and understanding which companies are interested in its services. For these purposes, we may process technical information about the use of the site and associate information about pages viewed and visit duration with a visiting company.

Subcontractors involved in these tasks may access information necessary for their work.

Consent

Visitors may consent to optional cookies and similar tracking technologies through the site’s cookie banner. They may withdraw their consent by changing their cookie settings on the site. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it.

Data content of the register

The data processed may include:

- IP address and technical information about the browser and device

- logs relating to site use and security

If a visitor is identified, for example through a form or an integration in use, their website visits may also be associated with their contact details.

Regulatory data sources

Data is generated when a visitor uses Strongest Group Oy’s website. Technical and site usage information is obtained from the visitor’s browser and device and from services used for website maintenance, analytics and identification of visiting companies.

Information relating to an inquiry is obtained directly from the visitor when they use a form or chatbot on the site. Data may also be generated through integrations between those services and our customer relationship management system.

Personal data retention period

Technical logs, analytics data and visitor data are retained for as long as needed for their purposes, in accordance with the retention settings of the services used. Retention periods may vary between services and types of data. Cookie durations are shown in the site’s cookie settings. The retention of information provided by a visitor through an inquiry is also described in our privacy notices for prospective customers or customers.

Data may be processed by providers of the website maintenance, security, cookie management, analytics, company visitor identification, chatbot and customer relationship management services used by Strongest Group Oy, and by subcontractors involved in those tasks. Access is limited to information needed for the task. Data may be disclosed to public authorities where required by law.

Transfer of data outside the EU or EEA

Website visitors’ data may be processed outside the EU or EEA through the services we use. Where data is transferred, we use a transfer mechanism applicable to the service under the GDPR, such as a European Commission adequacy decision (including the EU–US Data Privacy Framework) or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
